First, where the sun travels. It rises in the east, arcs across the southern sky, and sets in the west — so the south and west sides bake, and the north/east side stays cooler. Summer rides high and hot; winter sits low.
Now how that light actually lands across the whole property, averaged over the year. Gold bakes in full sun; deep green sits in shade from trees and the house.
Summer is when the beds take the most heat — this is June, the harshest month for full-sun plants.
Winter sun sits lower and shadows stretch longer — this is December.
Morning sun (9am) — gentle light. Ferns and part-shade plants thrive where morning sun lands but the afternoon doesn't.
Afternoon sun (4pm) — the hottest, most punishing exposure. Only tough full-sun plants belong where this stays gold.
4 · Terrain — height & drainage — from Google's 3-D surface model
How tall everything stands versus the ground. Gold-to-terracotta = taller — that's tree canopy and roof. The tallest trees here are your tree-trimming & removal upsell.
Where the land slopes. Deeper green = steeper, where water runs faster — the spots to watch for drainage and erosion before we plant.
Want to walk around it? Open the real, rotatable 3-D model of the property — Google's photorealistic tiles, the same data the height map is read from.

Foreman Review & Commitment
The Brain estimates the crew-hours. The foreman reviews them — if he changes the hours, profit moves in real time. When he accepts, it locks a team commitment to finish the job in that time.
